مستشعر الدخان والغاز MQ-2

الوصف:
MQ-2 مستشعر غاز شبه موصل يُستخدم للكشف عن الدخان والغازات القابلة للاشتعال مثل غاز البترول المسال والميثان والهيدروجين والبروبان. يوفر جهد خرج تناظري يتناسب مع تركيز الغاز.

مبدأ العمل:

عنصر استشعار المستشعر عبارة عن طبقة من أكسيد القصدير (SnO₂)، تتغير مقاومتها عند تعرضها للغازات.
في الهواء النقي، تتمتع طبقة أكسيد القصدير بمقاومة عالية.
عند ملامسة الغازات القابلة للاشتعال أو الدخان لسطح المستشعر، فإنها تقلل من مستوى الأكسجين وتخفض مقاومة المستشعر.
تحوّل الدائرة الداخلية هذا التغير في المقاومة إلى جهد خرج يمكن قراءته بواسطة وحدة تحكم دقيقة أو جهاز مقارنة.

MQ-2 Smoke and Gas Sensor

Description:
MQ-2 is a semiconductor gas sensor used to detect smoke and flammable gases such as LPG, methane, hydrogen, and propane. It provides an analog voltage output proportional to the gas concentration.

Working Principle:

1. The sensor’s sensing element is a SnO₂ (tin dioxide) layer whose resistance changes when exposed to gases.
2. In clean air, SnO₂ has high resistance.
3. When combustible gases or smoke contact the sensor surface, they reduce the oxygen level and lower the sensor’s resistance.
4. The internal circuit converts this resistance change into an output voltage that can be read by a microcontroller or comparator.

Applications:

1. Smoke detection in safety systems.
2. Gas leakage alarms.
3. Air quality monitoring.
